Otto's Chicken

Free range, no growth hormones and all real chicken. The buffalo wings are excellent,
the bone in chicken breast my favorite. Since the chicken grow to a full size the meat is
second to none. After eating this chicken I will never eat any mass produced chicken again.
There is just no better product out there.

These are not happy chickens

While I'm sure these chickens are better than those from the grocery store, chickens don't belong in sheds. They need to be able to scratch in the dirt and eat grass and bugs. I encourage everyone to buy free range or pastured chickens from farmers that raise them on grass where they belong. THAT's what chicken really used to taste like! Lots of farmers in the same area as Otto's sell truly good chickens who lived healthy, happy lives! (Crane Dance Farm is the closest--Lots of others on Localharvest.org)

Best Chicken I've Had in My LIFE

When I made it the first time, my husband complimented my cooking because the meat was so tender and juicy.

I don't get my chicken anywhere else. It's the best!

So This is How Chicken is Supposed to Taste!

My first Otto's skinless, boneless chicken breast was a revelation. When I pulled it out of the package to wash it, it just felt different - so smooth and plump and healthy looking. I've since had Otto's tenders and whole chickens, lots of breasts, and a couple of turkeys. The taste is so superior, we will never be able to go back to the mass produced excuse for poultry we ate before. We enjoy buying our Otto's chickens at Kalamazoo's Bank Street Farmer's Market in the summer. We are happy that some local restaurants are using the chicken and several local grocery stores are now stocking it, so we will be able to enjoy Otto's through the winter as well.

You OTTO try it

We've been buying Otto's for years at the Lansing City market, and we'll never go back to anything but. We just special ordered and enjoyed a young twelve pound turkey a couple weeks ago and though it was late May, not Novemer, we surely did give thanks. Great!!

The best!

We first had Otto's from some friends who live in Royal Oak (they get it at the Farmer's market) I couldn't believe what a difference there was in this chicken! It is extremely meaty and flavorful. I wish Otto's would deliver to Traverse City where we live! Now I have to get my daughter to stop on her way up North!

Best chicken in our part of the world!

A meal featuring Otto's chicken is something that we and our three sons look forward to. We enjoy finding Otto's Chicken at the Farmer's Market in Kalamazoo during the summer/fall months, along with all the other products/produce there. Overall a wonderful experience (the market and then eating the chicken!).
