Local Farmers get well deserved praise
As a recent newcomer to Jim Denevan's, Outstanding in the field I was totally amazed at the whole experience. Upon arrival to the secret cove and seeing the long string of chairs and table snugged up against the towering cliffs set a spectacular scene. Jim Denevan gave a welcome speech and described the event and what were in for. His quiet calm demeanor encouraged me to listen closely. He stood barefoot in the sand looking very much at home. I took my shoes off too. Jim's business partner Katy Oursler gave a short talk and expressed thanks for all attending. The farmers had a chance to describe the way they farm and how fresh local products make life that much better for all of us. Our Chef, Jennifer Biesty's Menu was perfectly delicous and paired with tasty wines. Jennifer "Jen" has such a natural grace and took the time to come by to say hello to see how everyone was enjoying themselves. I thank Jim, Katy, Jen and all the farmers involved. I will be referring many people.

Culinary celebrations at the source
Dining outdoors at the source of the food. We ate produce from a local organic farm and line caught halibut caught that day. We drank local organic wine. The tables and chairs were in the sand on a beautiful, private beach. It was fantastic.
