Good design solves an environmental problem - safe, clean tap water.

Finally, what can only be the sexiest water filtration system around - thanks Canada! The OVOPUR water filter, egg shaped, and symbolizing all that's good and life-giving about water, rebirth and regeneration, and abundance (not for long). Crafted of simple materials, such as porcelain, glass, and metal, (including recycled content) it evokes a fine sculpture. The shape is not merely aesthetic, curves keep the water flowing, not stagnating. The unique 4-step AQUACRISTAL filter cartridge contains the best filtering media 'proven to remove chemicals and organic pollutants'. This design was based on natural water cycles in nature. The first of it's kind, sustainable cartridges can be returned (in prepaid mailer) for a discount on a new cartridge, about every four months. It includes KDF-55 filter media for heavy metals, activated carbon absorbs 99% of organic substances, including "VOCs, and pharmaceutical residues", micro-porous terracotta pellets which soften water by reducing molecule size, and finally quartz crystal sand is used to remove any lingering impurities. And there is a 60-day trial with 100% money back guarantee if not satisfied. This was enough to convince us to buy this, despite the high upfront cost - we realize the cost of bottled water, and the environmental impact is enough to justify the expense. Once we test this product out, I'll update my review.
