seems wasteful...
I think its great that the pencils are made from 100% recycled newspaper, but they should have stopped there. It doesn't seem very "green" to store each individual pencil in its own plastic tubing in order to keep the artifical smell strong. Plain is better...

Excellent pencils, they sharpen well and can be used for a long period of time before sharpening again. They are made of 100% recycled newspaper and are all earth friendly. I recommend these to everyone who uses pencils.
