Not impressed day 5

I have done other cleanses and this product does not compare to the others I have used. I am 4 days in and am constantly feeling bloated and gas filled throughout the day with seemingly un-productive bowel movements. I am eating super healthy, lots of water, fruits, veggies, good amount of exercise, etc... I am tempted to stop mid stream as I am not feeling well on this one.

Terrible Product

I feel terrible. I eat pretty well and I have been trying to increase my exercise to try & help this horrible full feeling. I can't move anything. I am going to look into a colonic. The package says it won't interrupt your daily routine, but I am so uncomfortable and the gas is so terrible, I am afraid to go anywhere. I wish it was productive, but I haven't been able to move my bowels! I am drinking about 12+ glasses of water, i ate only cantelope & water yesterday and I added some senna tea to try & get things going, I am miserable. Minimal success. I can't continue with this cleanse. Also It isn't convenient for me to bring it along with me when I eat away from home.

The last thing I am disappointed with is their website doesn't have any help. No email address or FAQs - like "What to do if this product stops you up!??" I will call the Garden of Life general info line Tuesday, and I will post if they give me any helpful hints. I would love to hear of a great cleanse product. a friend recommended mercola.com. I think I will check it out.

Opposite of a Cleanse!

I will be quick with review cuz the product is not even worth time to review. I love all other products from this company like the digestive enzymes and probiotics but my friend knew i needed help with a cleanse to jump start my healthier lifestyle and bought me perfect cleanse 10 day. I was so excited to start a cleanse as i had done one before that worked really well and im wishing i remembered the name of it!

anyway, i ate soooo clean and healthy when on the cleanse (breakfast: egg whites and freshly made carrot and spinach juice, salad for lunch with veggies and hummus, and for dinner had salmon,veggies, and piece of fruit) -- yet i felt pregnant with food like i had eaten 3 pizzas! it was awful. i was even so committed to staying on it that i just dealt with the painful gas and constipation a few more days. i even sacrificed a drink and nibbles at a red carpet event because i wanted to be perfect to see a great change. that change did not happen. i started experiencing slightly better bowels in morning but no different than when i have a cup of organic coffee.

i stopped day four cuz i weighed more, felt sluggish, sleepy, and constipated. overall-- please check out other all natural cleanses and research and please let ME know when you find one that works :) ahah

Perfect Cleanse - stay away

Totally dissatisfied. Gave me major constipation. This product does not clean you out, it backs you up. Stay away.

perfect cleanse

Well I am very physical and healthy so I thought. I have been reading and researching about cleansing and chose to do this product, perfect cleanse. Its short, 10 days verses some at 30- 45 days long. As far as food you are pretty limited, organic or natural. I am a picky eatter though I do eat healthy everyday it wasnt too much of a stetch exceptt I dont eat dinner, that threw me off. I am into day 6 right now and I dont feel more energetic at all, actually I have been sleeping more. My bowels, well I have been somewhat constipated since starting this. My daily routine before this was pretty good. Eatting healthy yogurt with organic granola or oatmeal or eggwhites for breakfast, having fruit as a snack, then lunch tons of veggies steamed and chicken daily, then a snack then after working out another healthy snack. I eat as you see 5x a day, workout 6 days a week. This has thrown me off kilter as far as food intake and times and taking the supliments and drinking that drink is inconvienent to sched it 30 minutes before and after. Yes I drink alot of water too, i have to for the gym. Would I do this product again, no way, I will try another product next time that is more user friendly.

a perfect cleanse?

well i just picked this product up today at the whole foods store
firts you take three pills bedore dinnner
then drink a mixed drink a half-hour after dinner
the drink taste like dirt which probably means it's good for you :)
then you take some pills at night

i hope it releases whatever has me gased up
i have committed to eating whole foods during this process

i was going to try the isagenix cleanse but with gas prices so high
this was my cheaper option

has anyone tried isagenix? is it worth the money?

Garden of Life 10 Day cleanse

I was suggested this cleanse at the local healthfoods store, but after trying it wanted to let you know what I experienced. But as a pre-warning, if your thinking about doing a cleanse you should check with a doc first, make sure you run any regimine with them. While I am someone who is passionate about my health, nutrition, and wellbeing; I am no means an expert or guru thats why I encourage you to do research on this topic and decide for yourself what's right. Why is cleansing good to do? It's simple it helps purge out toxins and get rid of food cravings and improve overall better digestive health. Okay, so your probably asking did this cleanse work? I did feel some changes, but compared to other cleanses I don't think it eliminated as many toxins. I don't know if thats cause I have less in me (my last cleanse was 3 months ago so probably not). How do I know this? Well, I really don't but I didn't see as much come out during BMs and I didn't have consistant movements. Did I feel better? Yes but im not sure how much it was the cleanse or placebo effect. I would be interested in finding a study on this. So what do you do? You basically take supplements before you eat, a mixed drink after, and some more supplements before sleep. Warning this mixed drink doesn't taste good, but it isn't meant to taste great it's meant to help cleanse you out. This is not a complete diet, meaning you eat whole foods but for this reason it was harder to abstain from bad eating habits. Overall, it is a more gentle cleanse than Stanley Burrows's Master Cleanse, and might be good for the first timer or someone that cannot be devoted in doing a diuretic cleanse.

Gentle Internal Detoxification

3 times a year I do an internal detoxification to cleanse my body of toxins. I love this product because it's easy, gentle, allergen free, and organic with no addicitve herbs. I've done others in the past that have casued me to "run" to the restroom, if you know what I mean ;) This product doesn't do that and I can feel it releasing toxins into my system slowly, rather then fast like some others. My symptoms have included a slight headache that went away after the first day and a few "outbreaks" on my chin. You also can keep your normal diet, but they recommend you remove alchohol, processed foods, and caffine and try and eat a whole foods diet mostly of veggies, fruit, brown rice, good quality proteins and limit your dairy intake. If you love your caffeine, I would recommend switching to green tea instead so you can get the most out of your cleanse. After day 2, I felt more energetic and slept much more soundly. I also feel it's important to sweat a lot too while detoxing, so I'd recommend kicking up your excercise routine. And, the results are fantastic....my clothes fit better and I have more energy. Great, easy-to-use internal cleansing system. Good luck if you decide to try it!
