Best Movie Ever

Singlehandedly the most incredible television event of all time. Every Sunday for 6 weeks i sat and watched in HD with my mouth hanging open some of the most incredible flaura and fauna on the face of this planet. For that time span, i really and truly felt like i was part of something magical. Share this movie with everyone that you can

Stunningly Beautiful! Starling and Powerful Documentary!

Since our Planet Earth DVD set arrived, we can hardly wait for another evening to come around, so we can watch the next episode in the series. Narrated by Sigourney Weaver, series produced by Alastair Fothergill and music composed by George, each episode is breathtaking with a cast of thousands, thousands of of wild animals and credits that would wrap around the planet.

They tell you to "prepare to see the planet as never before", and they aren't just putting a teaser out there to get you to watch it...I have never seen in nature or watched in film footage what I saw throughout this series. Advanced technologies enabled the camera crews to observe and document behaviors that are seen for the very first time on film. Here's what you'll see, as never before, on Disc 1: Pole to Pole, Mountains, and Deep Ocean; on Disc 2: Desserts, Ice World, and Shallow Seas; on Disc 3: Great Plains, Jungles, and Fresh Water; on Disc 4: Seasonal Forests and Caves; on Disc 5: Planet Earth-The Future.

you've gotta see Planet Earth

Planet Earth just came in through my Netflix account, as it's in the queue, and I have to say, it's a mind-blowing foray into intercontinental natural processes. The aerial shots are breathtaking.

In the Mountains section, my mouth gaped open at the first "intimate" footage of a snow leopard and her cub in the Himalayas.

It's extremely enlightening to see a nature doc that doesn't have all of the references to global warming and the fact that we're damaging the life that grows on this little blue-green ball we inhabit.

I can't wait to watch the entire set of DVDs. i think they had like a $27m budget. It's a beautiful thing to go from continent to continent and to realize that we're all one.

I am blown away by the beauty of Mother Earth. She inspires me, and I feel that we all have a responsibility to contribute to taking care of one another and our environs.
