Get Rid of Junk Mail & Get Name Off Marketing Lists

Just like using Catalog Choice to stop unsolicited catalogs, Pro Quo is a free service to remove your name from mailing lists: including Coupons & Weekly Circulars, Marketing Lists & Data Brokers, Directories and Telemarketers' lists. Once you request to be removed from their list, Pro Quo states that we should see a reduction in junk mail in about four weeks and finitely by 3 months. Once your account is set up, you are given a 'dashboard' where you can request removal of your personal information from thousands of lists and organizations that have your information on file".

I opened my account and started the process by launching the Pro Quo Stop-All Wizard, which apparently is a short list for a long list of lists that come from a major clearinghouse of mailing lists. Some of the stop-action takes place automatically and others require a letter, which Pro Quo creates for you with your contact information. You simply print out the letters, sign and mail them to the individual companies or organizations requesting a written request. I was supplied with six letters to print (or save to my computer to print at a later date). Can you say EXPEDITE. Sure saved a ton of time. And, only time will tell if this works.
