Claravale Farm Raw Milk

As an ongoing consumer of raw milk for the past 5 years I have tried a few different brands. Both myself and my family agree that Claravale Farm's raw milk is the richest and best tasting. Now that I live on the east coast I can't get it on a regular basis but always purchase it when back visiting California. Great milk!

Organic Raw Milk from Claravale Farms -- Tastes Like melted Ice Cream

I wasn't able to drink milk for about 10 years because it gave me terrible cramps and made me feel sick. I used to love milk as kid, but as an adult, my doctor proclaimed that I was lactose intolerant. I recently went to a naturopath, and she asked if I ever had tried raw milk. She said that when milk is "cooked" or pasteurized and homogenized, some people lose the ability to digest it because it has been fundamentally changed and the enzymes have been destroyed. So I gave it a try. I'm happy to report that I am not lactose intolerant after all, and I can drink (raw) milk again! Claravale Farms has a small herd of grass fed cows, and if you live in the SF Bay Area you can get their organic raw milk at Whole Foods, Elephant Pharmacy, and some health foods stores. There's a ton of info on the web re: the health bene's of grass fed raw milk...from supporting immune function, to building brain capability. If you are thinking about putting it in formula for babies, just boil the milk first
