I love this magazine. For the most part I don't do all the things in it (I think i have actually undertaken only one of their projects so far) but just reading about all the great things out there in the DIY scene and seeing what other people have done is a pleasure. Plus this magazine is dirt cheap - i got a one year subscription for 5 bucks at the green festival - definitely worth it

Love this wonderfully wacky 'retro-modern' mag about making all kinds of useful and fun stuff! All projects are evaluated on time , cost ($5+), ingredients, tools and skill levels: monkey, cro-magnon, drudge and craftsman. The key is RE: re-dux, re-source, re-style, re-use, re-vamp, re-wire.
Once you become a subscriber, you can check out the ReadyMade archives, like Issue 27: The Green Issue: 62 Simple Green Designs. Features a 6-page article "O Eco Pioneers! - Three urban development projects transforming modern environmentalism".

I love this magazine. I'm a crafty geek, I never have enough time for all my interests. It's one of my personal missions to rescue and resuse things, re-purpose hardware, re-style a piece of clothing, build and make things. I love salvation army and thrift stores, yard sales and alleys. I can think of a new life for almost anything I see, and therefore keep it (if only for a little bit longer) out of a landfill. This magazine will inspire you to do the same.

Readymade is a mad useful publication. Monthly contents are a mishmash blend of bike part appliances, IKEA product hacks, duct-tape wallets, and guides for specifically how to make or remake anything domestic! Must have reference.
