Cruelty-free silk

I visited the Real Green Goods booth at Chicago's Green Festival. This company is a green department store which offers environmentally friendly products. Interestingly, I discovered a couple products made from cruelty-free silk. With cruelty-free silk, the worm is allowed to escape its cocoon before the cocoon is boiled.
