Recipe for Thai Basil Chicken

Thai Recipe

Buy all organic ingredients to make this a delicious organic meal!

• 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast
• 1/4 teaspoons ground black pepper
• 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 2 small pepper
• 1 1/2 coups of fresh basil leaves or Asian basil leaves, washed well and patted dry
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 1/4 cup fat-free chicken broth or water
• 2 teaspoons Asian fish sauce
• 2 teaspoons low sodium soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Heat the large sauce pan over high heat. Add oil and heat until hot but not smoking. Add chopped garlic and stir-fry until golden.

Add chicken and cook, stirring constantly to prevent sticking, about 5 minutes

Add and combine chilies, broth and water, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Add basil and stir-fry 30 seconds. Add lime juice.

Ready and serve chicken with steamed white rice.
