Remedy for Icky, Sticky Playing Cards

We love to play cards in our family. We have two decks that are broken in just right, easy to handle, easy to shuffle, but sticky from years of frequent use. To clean a sticky deck of playing cards, all you have to do is put the deck in a used paper or plastic bag with a tablespoon of flour or talc powder and shake to coat the individual playing cards. When done, wipe the cards off with a cotton rag or towel. Cards anyone?
