My old dotcom metal coffee mug
I have had this old metal mug that says "adauction.com opportunity clicks" since the (first) dotcom days. I hardly used it because a) I don't drink drink coffee normally b) it's so clunky! But now I have a reason to - it saves trees and more garbage from going into landfills. And while it's going to take me a while to remember to grab it every time I want to pick up my guilty pleasure latte, it makes me feel good to use it. I'm going to put my peace stickers on it for more character! :)

Coffee to go in your own mug!
It's really simple: no mug, no coffee. If I don't have my own stainless steel insulated mug on hand, I don't get coffee to go. I'll stay and drink it out of a non-disposable mug or I will skip it. It's not a challenge or a privation. Think about sending those coffee cups to the landfill - even if they are biodegradable, there are resources consumed to create the cups -- and unless you're putting it into a compost pile, it's going to a landfill.
