super-garlic salsa
Green Mountain Gringo makes really good salsa. If you don't have time to make your own or if you don't have any fresh, local options at the moment you need salsa (which are always the best!) or if you're camping or need nonperishable salsa, this salsa is a great option. It comes in glass jars. My favorite is this kind, the roasted garlic. It's mild and hearty and made with quality ingredients, though it's not organic. It's also well priced, at between $3 and $4 for a jar. I also like the spice blend in it. The garlic makes it a little sweet. I guess these guys were originally started in Vermont, then relocated to North Carolina after a company there bought them.
