not so impressed
I tried a manicure and pedicure from this salon about 7 months ago, eager to have my first organic spa experience. I give the owner credit for creating a more sustainable environment, but I didn't see a 100% commitment from everyone. My technician used some Aveda products (the last time I checked none of it was organic or chemical-free) and then proceeded to use OPI polish. What? I was really annoyed as I was sure I'd be introduced to a new non-toxic polish. Plus she was painful at one point. I wouldn't go back to her, but also noticed they weren't using other organic products, or towels, or even tea that I was offered. I expected a better, organic, earth-friendly experience. I think they need to really dedicate themselves to that 100%. Organic salon products exist, and maybe staff need to be trained to use them. This isn't rocket science, but appears to be more towards greenwashing.
