Healthy treats for dogs.

My dog LOVES Sam's Yams. They come in "Bichon Fries" for small dogs, Regular sized Veggie "Rawhide," and Big Boyz.

When I first gave her one, she sniffed it and seemed a bit confused. She left it for awhile and then came back and sniffed it again. A few minutes later, I picked it up and gave it to her again and she chomped away. She hasn't looked back since! Now we give her one nearly every day and she devours it like it will disappear if she doesn't chew it up within 30 seconds.

Sweet Potato is really good for dogs, especially those with sensitive stomachs, allergies, or.... uh... digestive issues. We give her a Sam's Yam or similar treat every day to help keep her regular as she gets older. She's on good food, so this isn't normally a problem, but every now and then she grabs the dreaded (I dread it, she doesn't) sidewalk snack that upsets her tummy. These help keep her on track.

I love that there are no preservatives, additives, coloring, or anything yucky in these treats. I've contacted the company before and the only thing used in the dehydrating process is a bit of water and only a very small amount.

Be aware of imposters! Some sweet potato treats have added sugar in them. Particularly some made in other countries. They are sweetened and the label does not always contain that information. Dogs do not need candy! Sam's Yams are made in the US from sweet potatoes grown in the US. NO recalls!
