Sangiovese
I was less than impressed with the Sangiovese. It had a watery taste to begin with, and left a bitter after taste--not things I'm looking for in a red like this.

This bottle fell flat
It always does my heart good to know that the wine I'm drinking is organic, but this Sangiovese fell flat. It has a mellow table wine flavor, and the color was more burgundy than purple. The label says that one should taste a bouquet of mixed berries, and I was definitely able to recognize the fruity notes, but there was a crispness lacking in the flavor, a kick in the middle of your swallow that should have been there.

nice velvety organic Sangiovese
Of the three Frey wines I've tried, the Sangiovese wasn't that good. Decent, but nothing to write home about.
Now the Syrah on the hand, well, that's another matter entirely.
