Address map 388 Market St.It's not that I don't dig a good cement floor restaurant with sort of a rustic/warehousey feel. I do. But something about this place is not warm to me. So I like to get the food to go and take it to Yerba Buena Park.
That said, i still give it four stars because I love their sustainable restaurant model, and I think the food is pretty darn fresh, tasty, and well-priced. The service is also efficient and friendly. And I love[d?] the buy-one-pizza-get-the-next-one-for-$3.1415 ... great deal on good pizza.
I just wish it felt more comfortable eating there.

I love Sellers Market. They source from local food artisans who practice sustainable agriculture. And their food is consistently delicious: It tastes good, it's organic, and it feels good to eat. Did I mention it tastes good? Prices are in the $8 to $11 range for lunch, not including drink, and the sweets are excellent, too--if they've got cobbler, get it. I want to see more places like this all over California, all over America--excellent, fast alternative to the conventional grub at so many other places.

Sellers Market is wonderful. Do kind of agree that the atmosphere is a bit cold and industrial, but what matters most is the fresh organic and sustainable foods. Yum! more »
