I agree with Christine that Sephora seems to make an effort to carry organic cosmetics. Now, I don't buy many cosmetics, being a dood and all, but I walked in there one day with the crazy idea of asking them if they had any organic pomade. I was directed to an employee who seemed to really know her stuff. She recommended several products, explaining about some: "this one is ALMOST vegan, it does have lanolin, which is taken from the skins of sheep without harming them, but some people still aren't cool with that." I was pleasantly surprised at how prepared they were for my questions. They don't seem to be committed at their very core to green and organic, so in my book 4 stars is as high as they can really get! P.S. I ended up going with Jonathan's "Dirt" Texturizing Paste.

Chain Store but Good Selection of Organic/Natural Products
I usually am not a fan of chain stores but I have noticed that Sephora is making an effort to carry more natural, organic and preservative free products recently. This the only place that I know who carries the Stella McCartney Care brand which is a great line. They also have Juice Beauty products which I used to have to buy at Whole Foods.
