A bit oversweet but tasty
Trader Joe's has been providing packaged nut snacks for ages -- in the past couple of years, they've come out with some great treatments of cashews. The Sesame Honey cashews are not my first choice as a snack, but they're a good sweet, crunchy nutty snack in a pinch. If they were on a table at a party, I probably wouldn't pass them up.
TJ's does offer organic nuts in some of the snacks -- but this isn't one of them. This particular product tends to be on the oversweet side and sometimes the nuts taste a bit stale or soft, as noted - this is a general quality control/inconsistency issue with TJ's products.
Instead, get your own raw cashews -- organic raw cashew pieces are not terribly expensive. You can toast them (if you must) in a dry skillet or in a shallow pan in your oven or toaster oven. Add some honey and sprinkle with sesame and put back in the oven - voila! Your own sesame honey cashews! Added bonus: your house will smell GOOD!

I prefer my cashews plain, thanks
These sesame-laden cashews border on being too sweet. I much prefer my cashews plain and salted or unsalted. For some reason, the taste seems slightly off, that somewhat packaged, stale flavor that sometimes creeps into Trader Joe's goods, which speaks of the inconsistencies in their products that I know many experience every now and then.
