Wonder what to do with unused or expired medicines? Don't put them down the drain, where they can show up in our water systems. Throwing them in the trash isn't environmentally sound, either.

While the City works on a permanent solution to the growing problem of safe medicine disposal, we are providing free postage-paid envelopes so you can mail your meds for incineration. Pick up an envelope at SF Environment, 11 Grove Street, or call (415) 355-3777 for more information.
