the best tasting vegetables
Shumei is a vegetable farm that is located in the mountain of Boony Doon near Santa Cruz. They grow only veggies that are in season so the veggies actually taste their best and nutrious, unlike the those found at big grocery stores which always taste "out of season".
also, their farming practice consumes the least natural resources, e.g. low water usage, only use plant based fertilizer ( pine mulch), and no use of gas or diesel powering machines (everything's done by human hands).
With the current trend of organic farming being a "hot" market and big corporations are catching up and lobbying for changes in the traditional organic standards. So Shumei's vegetables are actually better than "organic" vegetables.
