One of the best beef alternatives

This is a great ground meatless that cooks up very quickly. You basically just have to warm it up. I like that it is fresh and not frozen. I like it better than Boca frozen ground, which is also quite good.

The same company also makes Smart Dogs, the best veggie hot dog I've ever had.

Smart Ground

I am a meat-eater, but love this stuff way better than ground beef. It cooks really quick and tastes really great. I use it in tacos and to make veggie meat balls, but you can use it in just about anything.

Ground beef substitute

I love this product! I fool everyone when I cook with it. It's so much easier to digest and I feel energized after eating, not bloated and tired.

Perfect Ground Meat Substitute

I am by no means a vegetarian or a Vegan, but due to the number of studies I have read that show that meat is a HUGE cause of global warming, and that eating less meat in general is simply healthier for you, I am doing my best to cut my meat consumption down. I have found that the easiest ways to do this are to 1. eat meat as an ingredient in food (like a chicken stir fry) rather than as THE food (like a roasted chicken) and 2. To take food where meat is only an ingredient and use a fake meat product in it's stead. If you try to make a meatball out of Smart Ground, you will notice that it isn't meat. However, if you use it in a casserole instead of ground beef, or in fried rice as the same, you can completely get away with it.

I definitely recommend this product, and if you have any friends who refuse to eat meatless products, try making a very beany chili with this stuff - they will never know the difference, and it will be better for them and for the planet! (Plus, you can get a good laugh out of it, something else we could all use a little more of)

Better than ground beef

I have been vegan for over 15 years and I normally don't try to use products that imitate beef or chicken but I highly recommend Smart Ground as an alternative to ground beef. I have used different products including the dry soy textured protein and have never been happy until I found this product. It will please even the picky carnivorous.
