Solar Lantern - Best Camping Item EVER!

I picked up this nifty item from Green Home where it costs less than the price listed on the manufacturer's website. This is way better than any of my other battery powered camp lights -- and doesn't result in empty cannisters that have to be disposed of as hazardous waste. The lantern can be charged in the sun, and it also can be run from your car (12V adaptor) or in the house with a 120 adaptor or with batteries.

This lamp provides a lot of light -- I put it up in a tree on the "HI" setting and it was excellent for setting up a tent in the dark last fall. It has two settings and the light doesn't seem to attract bugs like most incandescent or flame lanterns do. I can't recommend this item enough.
