Solar Panels Are Fantastic My Monthly Power Bill is Under $10.00
We have a large swimming pool, a 2,650 sq ft house, and four people with a bill of less than $10 a month. We love our solar panels. It's a 5.5 KW system. It really is not ugly on the roof either. I am so glad we made the investment, which initially seemed like a lot of money, but now seeing that small power bill makes me soooo happy. I think solar and wind are the way to go. The sun has so much energy--let's use it! I love to go watch our meter spin backwards--better than a slot machine in Vegas, because this one always pays out.
Can you imagine the dent we could make in our electric needs if every flat topped office building, strip mall, and commercial property had these on the roof. I really think the government should require this.

We saved >50% of electricicty use in our home, in turn, decreased pollution to the enviroment from no-renewable power generation. I think every business and home owners should consider this in California where we have enough sunshine to significantly decrease Co2 generation and greenhouse effect.

I BOUGHT A TOYOTA DOLPHIN MOTORHOME BECAUSE IT WAS THE BEST MILEAGE FOR A MOTORHOME BUT I WANTED TO LIVE IN IT SO I NEEDED CONSTANT ELECTRICITY. THE PANEL GAVE ME THE CLEANER POWER CHOICE SO I WAS ABLE TO GO WITHOUT A HOOKUP TO ELECTRICITY. NOW I WANT TO GO ELECTRIC VEHICLE COMPLETELY.

Solar panels are awesome!

We bought our panels from Revco Solar in Orange County CA. They were made in the Phillippines. I don't know what materials they are made of--but sunpower has a website, which probably has that info. more »
