The Best Birth Center Ever!

I've had both of my beautiful children with South Coast and I know I'll be back when I have another! Birth is so scrutinized and fear based in our society and midwives realize that it is rather a natural, empowering experience. They nurture the female's innate ability and instinct to carry and bear babies. The whole process was more than just a pregnancy and regular checkups. My time with South Coast was an experience, one I will cherish and remember forever. My children are so calm and were given the most gentle entrance into this world. Thank you!

If you're pregnant, you need to come here!

I just love South Coast Midwifery and the midwives there. I also love the staff. Everytime I visited their office, I was greeted with a smile and a comforting, friendly feeling. I was made to feel like I was the only pregnant person in the world. I also go there for my regular checkups and would suggest that to all you woman out there too.

Highly Recommend

South Coast was a blessing for me and my family. I had always dreamt of being a mother, but I must say, I was worried after all the unsolicited horror stories I was hearing. Lorri and Angela were very supportive of my concerns and always listened to me. Their empowerment and education made me overcome my fears and feel more and more prepared for the day. The entire experience brought me and my husband closer and we think our daughter is the best thing that ever happened to us - thanks to SCM :) I originally planned to birth at the center, but changed my mind to a home birth. I suggest it to anyone!

I love these ladies!

I feel so fortunate to have found these women and their lovely birth center. I was referred here by a friend when I moved to the area while I was 3 months pregnant. The prenatal care was very personal and I never felt rushed or had to wait. My birth was the birth of my dreams. Everyone was so supportive and attentive - it was everything I hoped and wished for. I would highly recommend South Coast Midwifery and will continue to refer all my friends there! Thanks again SCM!!!!!

Outstanding Care

My experience with South Coast Midwifery was beyond compare. They treated me with care and compassion. They staff was friendly, the appointments were on time and they empowered me for an amazing birth experience. I highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for a natural birth instead of the cold sterile treatment people come to expect in a hospital.

NEVER GO TO SOUTH COAST MIDWIFERY VERY RUDE

THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND THEY ARE ALWAYS RUNNING LATE. I DON'T THINK THEY ARE COMPETENT IN HANDLING PROCESSSING INSURANCE CLAIMS. MY SERVICE WAS BILLED UNDER THE WRONG CODE AND COST ME MANY HOURS TO FIX THE PROBLEM SINCE THEY WERE UNWILLING TO DO SO ON MY BEHALF. THE DOCOTORS'S OFFICE FOR WOMEN IN ORANGE COUNTY IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE ALL YOUR DOCTOR'S VISITS AND FOR BABY CARE...THEY ARE GREAT!

BE AWARE!!! Don't go there!

Staff is very rude - don't dare go into preterm labor otherwise they will make you wait for the midwife to become available. If you do go - don't give up your OB/GYN opt for concurrent care for the moment they ignore you. Caitlyn is very rude, Lindsey - Lori's daughter is rude as well! They promised us a certain level of care and we haven't seen a thing from them. Had to go to the emergency room to get a basic check up because of preterm labor. I should have known about them - when I called them to donate milk to their milk bank they were rude then!
