Wanted it to be really good

I tried this product at the Green Festival in Chicago this past week (4/2007) and I really wanted it to taste good, but it didn't. Normally I'm the kind of vegetarian girl that will make some kind of allowances in the taste department if it meets some other requirement, mainly being vegetarian, but this stuff is just pretty bad. Maybe it was the tiny bit sized pieces the jerky was chopped into, but I tried it twice, and in different flavors as well, and still I couldn't like it. I was really hoping for chewy, tangy jerky and was disappointed.

a tasty treat indeed

This absolutely hits the spot if you're in the mood for beef jerky--except, surprise--without the beef!
This is a hands-down much healthier alternative.
They have an assortment of flavors, but my favorites are Teriyaki, Hot and Spicy, and Jamaican Chicken are tops. (note the Jamaican Chicken has zero grams of sugar, forgot the sodium level but it's low, low, low.

tofu soy jerky

This is a wonderfully delicious and nutritious product. I tasted this product last year and became addicted to it instantly. The same thing this year. Please try this product. Found in many health food stores.

Soy Jerky at the Green Festival!

Greetings from the Green Festival in San Francisco. I'm sitting at a SustainLane Booth with a great view of the Main Stage, where Amy Goodman is speaking passionately about the growth of opposition movements in the US and around the world. She is also speaking about the Mainstream Media (how it is like a corporate whore). Yes, by all means, let's take over the media!

I just bought ten packs of Soy Jerky, and I've started munching on the first one. I love to eat these at events like this because they are tasty, take a long time to eat, and provide enough sustenance to get through a whole day of great activity without taking time out to eat a real meal. Each contains 4 grams of protein and 45 calories, and 0% bad stuff. They also come in a variety of flavors, which makes it more fun (my favorites are "Hot Spicy" and "Ginger." I'm thinking that I ought to keep a regular supply of these around for everyday life.

Amy has finally gotten around to Cindy Sheehan.
