A great all around sneaker!

This was my second pair of Vegetarian shoes -- they fit very well right out of the box. The sole is relatively thin and flexible -- you don't want to wear this if you are doing a lot of walking on hard surfaces covered with little rocks, but it's excellent for walking around the city or the office. The soles have great traction and the shoe is very breathable.

These shoes don't have great arch support so be prepared to put in an insert or insole if your feet are sensitive to low-support shoes. These shoes lasted me well over a year and a half -- I wore them nearly every day for work, walking about 3-5 miles/day in them before threads started coming loose.

You can buy these babies on Vegan Essentials (www.veganessentials.com) - that will save you on shipping unless you live in the UK (in that case, buy them right from the manufacturer).

These shoes come in plain boxes - no fancy printed boxes, just sturdy brown and grey cardboard and paper that looks like it is nearly all recycled content. As of writing of this review, the manufacturer does not offer an end-of-life recycling program.
