Bad for your Baby AND for the Environment

i am suprised to find a review of Pampers on this site but at least it gives me a forum to explain why they are such a terrible product. First of all, disposable diapers like Pampers have tons of toxic chemicals that absorb into your baby's skin. The list of chemicals and problems is too numerous to mention so you can read more on this site: http://www.ecobaby.com/cloth.htm

Second, these diapers contribute to groundwater contamination and fill up landfills and take decades to break down. The bottom line is that these diapers are bad for everyone but most importantly, they can be harmful to your own baby. If you are looking for an alternative try cloth diapers or Gdiapers which are flushable.

Good but not green

Pampers make the best mainstream diapers. When you open them the glue is not sticking to everything and the diaper opens up well. They rarely leak as well, even without changing during the night. However, I find the smell too strong and I wonder what chemicals my baby is being exposed to. My pediatrician last week warned us not to expose our child to chlorine...even in diapers so we are now looking into other brands such as Seventh Generation.
