It works for me!
We just leave the static eliminator sheet in the dryer all the time. It does work for us. They don't add chemicals to your clothes and they don't ruin water-wicking clothing like dryer sheets do.

Static Eliminator Re-Usable Dryer Sheet System
I love this product!
We were without any fabric softener since I do not care for the laundry additives - even the soy based ones and do not trust disposable dryer sheets.
The 'system' consists of a pair of fabric sheets woven with copper strands that you leave in your dryer.
There are NO chemicals used, so there is no residue on your clothes - and no odor!
It is re-usable for over 500 loads, although I cannot yet attest to that.
We have been using this for about a month and we love it.
The only maintenance required is to wash it every three to four months.

Too good to be true
It's a nice idea that you could do away with your chemical soaked, single-use dryer sheets, but these dryer sheets don't noticeable reduce static cling.
