Stella & Chewy's is A-1

I just bought a bag of the freeze-dried chicken dinner to let my dog try it. When I adopted him last year, he was on Iams- yuck! I immediately switched him to Merrick's and he rewarded me with diarrhea. Okay, okay, I know you're not supposed to change cold turkey, but I didn't even want Iams in my house or any of the other by-products brands. After a couple of months, he still had intermittent diarrhea. So I switched him to Before Grain (Merrick's) which he liked better and agreed with him better. But I really wanted to go even more natural. I was worried about pathogens, but found out about the freeze-dried. So I bought that first bag of Stella & Chewy's. He loves it! And NO MORE DIARRHEA! (Few and far between, anyway) Since he's 30 lbs (roughly) I crumble it on top of the Before Grain. I'll try the other varieties too. And the treats (though all the treats I get him are organic) I definitely recommend this! (Yes, it's a bit expensive, but not as much as vet bills can be!)

Stella and Chewy's Make My Dog and Cats Happy

Stella & Chewy's makes great food and treats for dogs and cats. Using organic ingredients, Stella & Chewy's provides a great source of nutrition that my pets (2 cats and a dog) have gone crazy for. While I'm overjoyed that my furry friends love the taste, I'm elated because I can feel good about providing them with a healthy alternative to many of the other brands of food and treats available to cats and dogs. Stella & Chewy's uses only human-grade meat, not from factory farms, and does not add any preservatives, coloring, sugar, or salt. Nor do they use grain as a filler in either their food or treats. This alone should be enough to convince pet owners to give Stella & Chewy's a try. I feed my cats and dog Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried steaks (after adding some warm water to create the texture of wet food) mixed with some dry food, and they go crazy. Carnivore Kisses and Carnivore Crunch are a favorite snack for my pets. The bite-sized pieces are perfect for training exercises with the dog, and they certainly grab her attention when she's tempted to ignore commands. Best of all is the fact that the Crunches and Kisses are for both cats and dogs, saving having to have a million different treats in the cupboard. The look on your dog's face when it's feeding time, or the frenzied meows of your cat as it awaits a treat will tell you that you've made the right choice.

Stella and Chewy's is fabulous!

So I wrote a review of Stella and Chewy's a while ago, but now that I've had so many great experiences with them, I feel compelled to give them a few more words and a little more detail.

To start, the treats drive my cats and dog nuts. They love every kind we've tried. We've tried the Carnivore Kisses and Crunch in most of the flavors they have. I shouldn't really say "flavors" because there are no artificial flavorings, colorings, preservatives, etc. The Kisses are 100% freeze dried raw meat. I also love that the treats are for both cats and dogs, so they can share.

The steaks drive them even crazier! We add water to the freeze dried steaks to make them the consistency of wet food. My kitties and dog start swarming like sharks. They whine if I'm not setting their bowls on the floor fast enough! They do not whine for any other food or treats. While the freeze dried steaks don't have much of an odor as far as I can tell, they smell them from where ever they are and come running.

While their enthusiasm for Stella and Chewy's is great, what I like even more is that I can feel great about feeding it to them. There are no chemicals or unnatural ingredients, just real foods. It's important to me that they absolutely love them, but it's really important that it's so good for them.

I've seen dogs with allergies show no more signs of trouble after trying Stella and Chewys. Their coats cleared up within a month. If you have a fussy dog or cat or if they have allergies, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying Stella and Chewys.

It is a bit on the costly side, but that's because the ingredients are all quality. We're on a very tight budget right now, so we feed our cats and dog a mix of a high quality dry food with the Stella and Chewy's steaks. Hopefully our financial situation improves. I'd love to feed them exclusively Stella and Chewys.

If you feed raw or homemade but sometimes need something more convenient (for travel or busy days), try Stella and Chewys freeze dried steaks.
