Sticks and Twigs

As someone who avoids gluten containing foods, I was excited to see another gluten free product. I had bought Mary’s Gone Crackers’ crackers many times and was eager to try Sticks and Twigs. Imagine my surprise and horror upon chewing Sticks and Twigs for the first time, I broke my tooth. Not only is it broken, but it broke so deep in my tooth that I required periodontal surgery to make it possible to be fitted for a crown. The company is not responding to my requests to pay for dental repair work and to reformulate their product (I am not the only one who has broken a tooth on it, I found out later). I really give the product no stars but this computer program wouldn't let me do that!

Sheesh, Carolyn... my worst Mary's Gone Crackers fear realized! I will boycott Mary's Gone Cracker until I hear from you that they have responded cordially and appropriately to your request to be paid for damages for... more »

Gluten-free Alternative to the Conventional Stick-style Pretzel

A healthy alternative for sure. Crunchy with lotsa fiber, non-GMO, organic, vegan, no dairy or wheat... this product is an alternative for gluten and dairy intolerant souls, but not my favorite. Sticks & Twigs are made with brown rice, quinoa and amaranth, sea salt and a variety of seeds - chia, sesame, flax and millet. They have a lot of texture and snap like twigs when you bite into them. When I think of crisp, I think of more air between molecules. To be honest, I was fairly concerned about my dental work when gnawing on these salty sticks. Anytime you eat a Mary's Gone Crackers product, check the mirror for little black seeds between your teeth, before breaking into a toothy-grin. I give a high rating for quality, while reluctant to give highest marks for flavor and experience. *** to ****.
