I was excited to find these trash bags and was willing to pay the high price, but now I'm ready the use the box up. While they're recycled, they're not biodegradable. They also rip easily and I find that I have to fill it only part full to keep it from breaking, which is a waste of bag. I won't buy these again, but am still looking for a sturdy biodegrabable trash bag.

We're not doing damage to the earth by throwing away recycled plastic bags because... come again??? People, we're still putting plastic in landfills! We're still throwing away plastic that could be used for other purposes. Trash bags are the WORST use of plastic, either virgin or recycled, because plastic never goes away. It doesn't biodegrade. Plastic does not belong in the garbage!

Seventh Generation bags are tremenously environmentally friendly! Too often we fall into the pitfall of thinking "it's garbage, just use any ole' bag & throw it away". Did you not realize that kind of thinking is what changes our weather & makes it hard to breathe just for staters? Use these bags, they really do help now & for generations to come to feel much better by cleaner air quality. These are fantastic!

Did you ever think about how much space recycled plastic saves, especially as the earth seems to get smaller and smaller? Anyway, these are made from fifty percent recycled content and some post-consumer. Like forty percent less energy (that's right, forty percent!) is used to make these garbage bags than your usual virgin plastic bag. Another reason why Seventh Generation rocks. It just makes sound business sense, doesn't it?

Seventh Generation lets you make change without a big sacrifice. They have gotten fairly good distribution, so I don't have to hunt all over town for their products, and their packaging has great information about the impact your purchase is making. Informative, but not preachy, and catering to real people's real needs! Congratulations!
