Really cool Climate Change calendar
First published in England by Flipside Vision in 2006, the 2009 edition looks at why bottled water is a wasteful option, discovers that it only takes 15 years for a section of rainforest to recover from clearcutting, snoozes in a village elder's hammock on Tuvalu, leaps through an Austrian alpine meadow and stands shivering stark naked on the Aletsch glacier in Switzerland - or sweating it out on the World Naked Bike ride! Does this make global warming sound exciting? I would check out the one publication that makes you think about what you're doing without the guilt. It's practical, tells you the truth, and fills you with zest for life and love for our planet...A really good buy. Visionworks is now the distributor for the Calendar in the USA.
(Does this review sound shamelessly enthusiastic? Well it is - because it was written by the calendar's creator - Diana Korchien. See if you agree with her...)
Diana's keywords: Calendar, climate change, wind, water, arctic, rainforest, glacier, sea level rise, solar, biofuels
