My favorite neighborhood grocery spot!

Berkeley Natural Grocery is a tiny place -- they manage to pack in quite a variety of goods into this small store. They always have a great selection of organic produce and I am very happy to give my money to a local store when I am in the neighborhood.

The store is well-stocked, well-lit and has good hours (they don't close at 8pm like Berkeley Bowl does!)

The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable - they aren't substantially different from Whole Foods or Berkeley Bowl -- there may be differences on certain items (high and low) so you just have to be an educated shopper and pay attention to how much you are paying for stuff at other stores.
