Great fun for a good cause
Every Friday night The Potter's House, an all-volunteer run coffeehouse established in 1960 in Adams Morgan hosts Sounds of Hope, a fundraiser for a local non-profit. The Potter's House matches a performer with a local charity and all proceeds from the night go to the charity. The performing space is terrific for the artist, the food is wonderful, and the place is entirely volunteer run. They also sell books and gifts on and offline.
