Alright as far as meat substitutes go...
I was never a big fan of meat, so eating deli slices that have the same consistency and texture (and bland flavor) as their meat analogs isn't a big draw for me. These slices are kind of cold, wet and rubbery - just like deli meats.
I'm not a big fan of highly processed soy foods but the good news is that all Tofurky and Tempeh products are now made with Certified Organic Soybeans. Even better - Tofurky slices are made without "Hexane-Extracted Soy Protein Isolates."

Vegan peppered turkey
These peppered Tofurkey slices are surprisingly tasty. Though I'm an avid turkey-eater, it's nice to have these every once in a while. They're flavorful and vegan. I don't think they're organic. Anyway, they go great on hot or cold sandwiches. They have nice texture. I never thought I would actually say that Tofurkey is good, but this is really good stuff.

Tofurky the best vegan alternative deli slices!
My husband and I have been Vegan for roughly 6 years now. As products have improved and made it onto store shelves, we have enjoyed exploring these new products. Nothing has made us happier than having the ability to make amazing deli sandwiches using the TOFURKY brand slices. We've made amazing Italian deli style subs with warm bread, their Italian deli slices and Follow Your Heart mozzarella cheese and some tomato sauce. And their turkey cranberry slices are the best for after thanksgiving left over sandwiches smothered in cranberry sauce! WE LOVE YOU TOFURKY!
