Best TP for the environment

If you have to use it, this is the best route to go. You can buy a case of these 400-sheet rolls on Amazon at a pretty good price and it arrives in a cardboard box, with each roll wrapped in paper. It's all 100% recycled content (even my box was recycled paper!).

The quality of the toilet paper is great -- it doesn't feel moist or gloppy like most "luxury" brands of toilet paper (who needs "moisturizers" in toilet paper?). I'm very happy with it and expect that I won't have to buy more toilet paper for over 18 months now that I have this monster box in my closet. Get one and split it with your friends -- you'll be doing your pocketbook and the planet a favor.

a little too rough for my tush

i tried this product since I use other 7G products and have not had any problems. i felt that this toilet paper is just too thin and rough. per another review, I tried Trader Joe's recycled toilet paper instead and found it much more acceptable in texture and feel.

T.P. Nation - Seventh Generation

If every family in this country bought 12-packs of Seventh Generation toilet paper (I bough unwrapped rolls), like we are doing now: 4.4 trees, 11.6 million cubic feet of landfill, and 1.6 billions gallons of water can be saved, and 275,000 pounds of pollution can be prevented. Amazing, isn't it? Every decision we make, collectively, has huge consequences.

I find the 400-sheet roll is actually an improvement over the other brand I have bought for years. The tissue is also softer and more absorbent. Buying this product is also one more way to rid myself of chlorine in our home environment; Seventh Generation toilet paper is whitened by a natural, non-toxic process.

Plastic-free toilet paper!

I was thrilled to discover that I can buy Seventh Generation 100% recycled toilet paper single rolls, which are wrapped in recycled paper instead of plastic, by the case.

On Amazon.com, you can actually "subscribe" to this toilet paper and get it for 15% off the already reduced case price. (1 case contains 48 rolls.) Just go to Amazon and type "Seventh-Generation-Bathroom-Tissue-500-Sheet" into the search box.

The toilet paper arrives in a recycled cardboard box with no additional packaging inside. The only plastic is the tape used to seal the box.

This toilet paper deal is the best option I have found for purchasing recycled toilet paper with an absolute minimum of plastic and at a price I could afford. I would not buy any of Seventh Generation's plastic-packaged paper.
