Prius is the way to go
I love my Prius - bought in Dec 07. It averages 49-50 mpg and is comfortable, has great safety features and in addition to jumping on the hybrid wagon for environmental purposes, the $$ saving in gas is incredible. Plus, my husband and I have started to commute to work together, taking one car off the road and we get to use the HOV lane. A great feeling and an outstanding car. Until the next best solution arrives, I'm a believer.
