if you're as big as I am, don't jump on it

This Gaiam trampoline is a wee bit small for a dude like me. I'm afraid I'll break it. This one time I was jumping on the one in our office and I flipped on our company-favorite Billy Blanks Tae Bo workout session and I was just getting into it when...

Just kidding. I actually lightly bounced, then disconcertedly stepped down, afraid that one of my coworkers would see me, the big dude that I am, bouncing on a wee bit small Gaiam trampoline. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm not even that big, 6' 2'' 190 lbs. but if you're The Family Guy or something, I wouldn't buy this trampoline...it's for little "green" people. :)

I mean, unless your kids are little "green" people.

get the juices flowing

We have one of these in our office. I find that it helps me to go jump for a few minutes when I'm tired, stressed, or anxious. It's also good after a long meeting where you've been sitting and sitting and sitting...

I'm not sure why this is sustainable. Exercise helps a person be sustainable, so okay. But I don't know if this tramp has any recycled content, or if it is recyclable. I know that Gaiam is a "green" company so that counts for something.

Way to invigorate at the office

I had been eye-ing the trampoline in our office's exercise room which consists of yoga mats and equipment and the trampoline, but hadn't tried it until today. It rocks - literally! I feel completely invigorated after jumping on it for 5-10 minutes. It's a great way to burn a few calories, shake off stress and apparently, cleanse your body of toxins, increasing your lymph system circulation (check out the web link above.) It's much more cost effective (currently on sale for $79 from $99) than buying an exercise machine like a treadmill or stair master while consuming zero energy, and helps you get a great work out. I wonder if this type of thing would work in my apartment...
