Good dentist, but not an orthodontist
Dr. Pockrass is an excellent dentist, but be aware that he is not an orthodontist. He sells Invisalign services, which dentists are allowed to do, but even many DENTISTS will tell you that it is better to go to an orthodontist for Invisalign, since it is an orthodontic treatment. Although Invisalign promotes their product as something easy, it is NOT - teeth are moving around, and there can be health consequences (e.g. gum recession), as well as a great deal of pain, of course.
Many orthodontists have specific technicians they work with at Invisalign (the computer technicians are located in Costa Rica), and they will make many adjustments to the technicians work based on your health and aesthetic concerns. Not the case with Dr. Pockrass. If you are considering Invisalign, it is safer to find an orthodontist that has a great deal of expertise in this area, and will customize the technicians work to to your situation, rather than going off of the automatic computer-generated model. If you are going to invest several thousand dollars and several months of your life into orthodontic work, why not get it done with the highest degree of safety and professionalism?

An Exceptional Experience in Dentistry
This is an extraordinary experience in dentistry. Wellness is a composition of many elements and the gracious and highly informed staff at Transcendentist addresses the whole picture view with professional finesse and humane warmth. I have finally found someone who I trust with the care of my teeth on an ongoing basis. Incidentally, I have personally recommended Dr. Fred to numerous friends all whom have had to my knowledge exceptional experiences. Thank you Dr. Fred.

Transcendentist
I have been a dental technician for over 50 years. I have worked for Dr. Pockrass since he started his practice in California. I have found Dr. Pockrass and his staff to be very personal and caring. The office is peaceful, beautiful and nurturing. Having spent most of my life making dental appliances and working for many dentist as a point of reference I believe the dental work that is done in Dr. Pockrass office is of the highest caliber.
I think enough of the work and the environment and the quality of care that I felt comfortable refering many of my friends as well as my spouse to Dr. Pockrass for dental work.

A class of dentistry unto itself
I've been a client of transcendentist for over 2 years enthusiastically recommend them! It is the nation's first eco friendly dental spa. They use digital xrays and have thought through every step of the business, from the reception area furnishings to the paint on the walls, to the mouth care products they use, with an environmental focus. You get a foot massage during your treatments too!
