I purchased this sunscreen after reading about it at www.ewg.org and thought it would be worth the money. I used it today and even reapplied twice and I am red. I also found it quite greasy. I was getting better coverage with my Trader Joe's sunscreen.
Whoever wrote the review below must not have covered the tip of their nose for one. Also, you need to apply sunscreen 30 minutres before you enter the sun. UV Natural then works for up to 4 hours on me and my children. We swim all the time in it -- and never, veer have gotten burned! It always works, in Hawaii, everywhere! You have to make sure to cover the area, but you don't need too much! It has no water in it so it is not diluted like other sunscreens. You just rub a little into your skin and then it definitely absorbs! It also never stings eyes or makes you break out. I can wear my makeup over it and my kids can play without every having it run down their faces, hurt their eyes or cause reactions like checmical sunscreens. There is no other sunscreen like it. It works everytime! The person below has some unusual problems. I know at least 10 other moms who swear by it for their whole families. Also it is the only sunscreen safe for newborn babies. It is also safe for coral reefs.

I wrote the review that Kimberly mentioned in her review and I did cover the tip of my nose. I do apply 30 minutes before I go out, except if I'm on the beach, I'm not about to hide in the bathroom for 30 minutes for every coat of sunscreen every two hours. I got a tan, maybe the sand interfered with my sunscreen, maybe not. I am very fair, which is why I must reapply every 2 hours. The four hours they say doesn't apply to fair people or so I've read. Reapplication:it is like layering another coat of grease on. Costs about $30 plus s&h. Too pricy for it's false claim of non-greasy. On the plus side it does go on clear and doesn't stain clothing white. Absorbs better on the body than the face, for me.

Honestly, I haven't even tried this product yet, but when the Environmental Working Group's Cosmetic Safety Database conducted a scientific study on sunblock toxicity and effectiveness, this product was determined to be the best overall: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/browse.php?sunscreens=1&best=1
I'll be picking some up next time I head to the beach.
It was one of the best I have ever used.

Hi Marisol, I needed some sunscreen today, and I thought I'd try this one out and see what the deal was. I picked it up in Elephant Pharmacy in Berkeley, and I was floored it cost $30 for a tube! However, it was... more »
