Nutritious and delicious

I just adore the fact that Vital Vittles is a local company - that means I get the bread fresher than other folks outside the area. They make some outstanding organic, whole grain breads and tasty muffins - I can usually get their products at Whole Foods or Berkeley Bowl.

Vital Vittles uses hard red winter wheat, grown in the Southwest for an exceptional taste and high vitamin and mineral content. They also grind their own flour the day before it is used in baking on a natural, granite stone mill. This traditional method of milling protects the germ and important outer layer of the grain which is usually destroyed by the heat created in conventional steel roller milling.

The result is delicious and nutritious bread. Right in my own neighborhood!
