Goat Tee

“A morning without coffee……is like sleep” – that’s what it says on the back of the Wandering Goat Organic Coffee Roasters’ tee-shirt. My husband’s favorite to wear while making breakfast for our B&B guests. For the past year and a half, we have been buying their Hair of the Goat, Heart of Darkness, and Cafe Femenino beans, but will work with them over the winter on a custom blend for our B&B. The freshly roasted beans emit layers of robust and intoxicating aromas, as we measure them out; grind them with our Burr Grinder, then brew or French Press. We pour the dark elixir steaming hot into 2-cup ceramic mugs, to accompany a hearty breakfast.

We’ve spent time with Michael, the owner. We find that he is not only a gifted artisan at the craft of roasting, but has a wealth of knowledge that he is more than happy to share. He also holds the highest standards when selecting beans: single origins, blends, Swiss water process decaf, and green.
