A thick creamy delight from Vermont
So this stuff comes all the way from Vermont, but it is darn tooting delicious. Thicker than greek yogurt, which I didn't think was possible, this yogurt is made from water buffalo's milk. I didn't think water buffalos were native to the US, but I guess the farm in Vermont has a family of them. There are no preservatives or artificial sweetetners in this yogurt. It was thick and creamy and smooth. The package says no stirring required. I don't believe this as I strongly believe all yogurt should be stirred to create a happy smoothness. I loved this stuff. I bet it would be amazing with berries, or made into an orange julius. . . yumm. The yogurt has more protein, and less cholesterol than regular plain yogurt, but it also had more fat which might account for it being more delicious.
