All Keyed Up

Made from manual typewriter keys collected from all over the country, "What's Your Type?" recycles and handcrafts their accessories without the use of glue. They sell cufflinks, watches, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings made with sterling silver findings and clasps. Dog collars are coming soon.

Although they are saving typewriter keys from our landfills, I want to know what has become of all the key-challenged typewriters that have lost their usefulness, no longer able to function as manual laborers out there in the world of literature, education and business. I was very keyed up about all this until I read their FAQ's...you should read them too - to find out about their zero-waste policy.
