An excellent green bike-touring company

I went on my first bike tour with WHC and had such a wonderful time that went on my second tour with WHC later that same summer. I really enjoyed everything about the tour experience; the tasty food prepared by the experienced and friendly guides; the wonderful scenery; and well planned and executed trips. The trips are limited to small number of people so that each guest can fully appreciate their experience without being lost in a mob of other cyclists.
Bike touring sans the sag wagon was a seamless, liberating and eco-friendly and responsible way to see and experience the countryside.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a unique and wonderful experience on a bike.
I will definitely be touring with Wild Heart again.

YES!

This is fun!. Wild Heart Cycling is leading vehicle-free tours throughout lovely Oregon. They provide an easy-to-pull trailer which carries what you wish to take for the week. This eliminates the need for a gas guzzling SAG wagon. Up and down hills I wasn't at all aware of the lightweight Burley trailer behind my bike. Plus it's bright yellow color definitely made me more visible to cars. Way to go Wild Heart!

Healthy for me and the planet vacation

I went on a weekend tour with Wild Heart Cycling spring of 2006 in Central Oregon and it was fantastic. The company is extremely well-organized, cares about their clients safety as well as enjoyment and provided great meals! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a 'green' vacation.

A great way to enjoy the Northwest

My husband and I have been on two tours with Wild Heart Cycling, one in central Oregon, and one in eastern Oregon. In both cases, we whole-heartedly enjoyed Celia's fabulous camp cooking and Andrew's wealth of geology and bird knowledge.

Because Wild Heart Cycling tours are self-contained (meaning you tow a trailer with everything you need, with the exception of food and group gear, which the guides tow), it's a great way to have an active vacation and enjoy the the scenery, without the pollution caused by vehicle-supported tours.

We'll be touring with Wild Heart again. :)
