Weleda Wild Rose Deodorant Review

Although petite in package size, Weleda WIld Rose Deodorant really works wonders. Not only is it free of toxic chemicals, Weleda also relies on essential oils for its sweet scent. The bottle I purchased was approximately an oz (30ml). I've been using it for three months and I'm barely half way through. Generally it seems that just a single spritz is necessary for a normal day. The rosey scent is strong but not overpowering. I sometimes wear another green perfume over it, and the rose is barely discernable.
Personally the non-toxic component of the deodorant is more attractive than anything else. I'm actually not afraid of using Weleda because I'm sure that it won't give me breast cancer or some other nasty. Plus, the bottle is petite, so it fits neatly in my purse. And unlike synthetic parfum, Weleda's essential oils are actually pleasant. Hands down this is a safe and green product. Even the container is glass, which as we all know, is highly recyclable.
As for pricing, I paid around $14 for my little 1 oz bottle. Surely this really dives past what most people are willing to pay for a 1 oz bottle of deodorant. That is the only reason for the 4 stars. However, it does really last a long time. I don't have to keep reapplying throughout the day like normal deodorants. Of course if I'm going for a jog I'll need a second spritz. But honestly, I'm willing to pay extra to keep my body out of chemotherapy. And did I mention that it smells really good?
