Favorite Book Publisher!
Wilderness Press provides so much inspiration for my outdoor trip planning - over the years I have relied extensively on their books for hiking trails, hot springs, parks and maps.
By far, my favorite book is "Day Trips with Splash" - it's one of only two really reliable natural hot springs books out there for this region. I've used their books to learn more about Berkeley (great Berkeley Pathways map), trails in Kauai and Yosemite. Their books are widely available and dependable -- if I could figure out how to get a job testing and updating their hiking guides, I'd do it in a heartbeat! :)
