Stephen K. says:
Ever since visiting Jamaica, I realized how wasteful we are in throwing away so many manufactured items like ziplock bags. There, they are very expensive and considered a luxury item. From that day on I began to think about reuse. Now, I wash out all of my ziplocks along with the other dishes and turn them inside out to dry, keeping them in a drawer ready to use and reuse again and again until they get completely worn out. I rarely buy them anymore as so many items from places like bake sales and farmer's markets come packaged in new ziplock bags.
